Chief Product Officer

We are now looking for a Chief Product Officer to oversee and lead the process of our game development.

At Mindforce the CPO owns the project’s challenges and translates the creative vision into process, mechanics, systems, and playtient experience.

We expect you to be an expert communicator. You know how to communicate big ideas to executives, team members, and partner studios; you can succinctly interpret a vision and break it down to the smallest detail, using it to inspire those around you and motivate your team.

You bring five-plus years of experience to the table, have proven experience of launching and managing  digital games or products and you are ready to share that experience with a multidisciplinary team; you’re a mentor, a guide, and a leader among your team.

Front End Developer

We are now looking to hire a Front End developer for a small, dynamic and skilled dev team that is split between the offices in Skellefteå or Gothenburg, Sweden

As a Front End developer you will be responsible for working on and improving our long lasting secure platforms and creative solutions for our playient’s needs.

Being a small team means that every team member has a big impact on the finished game and being able to inspire and motivate them is important.

It is required to be flexible, always testing new ideas and to challenge yourself and others outside their comfort zones. You need to be able to easily switch between a wide and narrow perspective, have a structured approach to technical development, value listening to your team members and be able to communicate your ideas in an easy and inspiring way.

Responsibilities

  • Review and structure code with team members.
  • Take part in the development of the front end web portal and/or app.
  • Be part of the tech team in developing a highly performant game with a code quality that enables and empowers high programmer efficiency.
  • Be positive towards continuous improvement of the development process and automation in an agile environment.
  • Break down and estimate new features and flag high risks.

Required Qualifications

  • Important skills are Javascript web development and HTML/CSS.
  • Not required but useful is knowledge in Vue, Xcode/Swift and Unity/C#.
  • You are comfortable in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proven track record of being part of development teams with successful deliveries.

We believe it is very important that you are good at collaborating with people with different skill sets, but you must also not be afraid to get hands on with the codebase. You need to be passionate about developing games. As a person you are positive, dedicated, responsible, and love a challenge.

The position is available in either of our Swedish offices in Skellefteå or Gothenburg.
